Universal Battery Charger for 1-Cell Li-Ion (3.6-2.4V) and LiFePO4 (2.5-3.6V)

The board is a universal battery charger for 1-Cell Li-Ion/Li-Polymer (3.6-2.4V) and LiFePO4 (2.5-3.6V). It suits all types and sizes of Lithium batteries.

Various chemistries are acceptable: NCA, NMC, LCO, LMO, LTO and LFP

It has integrated current capability up to 800mA. The board is designed to supply a maximum of 700mA.

The device has three phases for charging a Li-Ion battery: precharge to recover a fully discharged battery, fast-charge constant current to supply the bulk of the charge, and voltage regulation to reach full capacity

Automatic Sleep Mode for low power consumption: 350-nA battery leakage current  and  85-µA input leakage current when charge is disabled

It has an NTC thermistor to monitor battery temperature and controls the current accordingly or disables charging.

It has two LEDs to indicate the charging status or faults

It has a switch to select between LiFePo4 battery and others

The battery container suits the protected and unprotected 18650 batteries
